Несмотря на обилие существующих хирургических методов, проблема лечения назальной обструкции по-прежнему остается нерешенной по причине их недостаточной неэффективности и высокого риска послеоперационного рецидива. Неудачи операций на носовой перегородке и нижних носовых раковинах побуждают к поиску других объектов хирургического лечения. Одним из таких решений является расширение грушевидной апертуры.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Разработать относительно простой в выполнении способ хирургического лечения назальной обструкции, предусматривающий парциальную резекцию края грушевидной апертуры и латерализацию переднего отдела нижней носовой раковины. Материалы и методы. Поставленная цель достигается за счет применения предложенного метода (патент RU 2770270 C1), включающего латерализацию нижней носовой раковины с предварительной резекцией края грушевидного отверстия. По данной методике пролечено 11 пациентов от 18 до 70 лет (7 мужчин и 4 женщины) с хронической назальной обструкцией: у 5 пациентов операция выполнена с одной стороны, у 6 – с двух сторон. Оценка результатов проведенного хирургического лечения проводилась посредством анкетирования пациентов по шкале NOSE (Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation) до и через 6 мес. после операции.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Медиана баллов по шкале NOSE до хирургического лечения составила 90 (82,5–95). Через 6 мес. после операции медиана снизилась до 5 (0–10), что статистически значимо ниже исходного значения (р &lt; 0,01, критерий Вилкоксона)</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Предложенный метод хирургического лечения назальной обструкции с ограниченной резекцией края грушевидной апертуры обеспечивает хороший функциональный результат и приводит к снижению выраженности симптомов по шкале NOSE в 16 раз по сравнению с дооперационным уровнем.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Despite the abundance of existing surgical methods, the problem of nasal obstruction treatment still remains unresolved due to inefficiency and postoperative recurrence. The failure of operations on the nasal septum and inferior turbinates encourages the search for other objects of surgical treatment. One such solution is the expansion of the piriform aperture. Aim. To develop a relatively simple to perform surgical treatment method for nasal obstruction, aimed at partial resection of the pyriform aperture rim and lateralization of the anterior portion of the inferior turbinate.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The goal is achieved through the proposed method (patent RU 2770270 C1) lateralization of the inferior turbinate with preliminary resection of the edge of the piriform aperture. Thus, 11 patients from 18 to 70 years old (7 men and 4 women) with chronic nasal obstruction were treated, 5 patients were operated on one side, 6 on both sides. The evaluation of the results of the surgical treatment was carried out by means of a questionnaire of patients on the NOSE (Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation) scale before and 6 months after the operation.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The median score on the NOSE scale before surgical treatment is 90 (82.5–95). The median score on the NOSE scale 6 months after surgical treatment is 5 (0–10) (p &lt; 0.01, Wilcoxon test).</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions.
