Обзор посвящен важности проведения первичной и вторичной профилактики сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний в практике терапевта в амбулаторных условиях, а также принципам эффективного и безопасного применения современных гиполипидемических средств.

The review focuses on the importance of primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease in outpatient settings, and principles of effective and safe use of modern lipid-lowering drugs.
