Основными задачами терапии являются элиминация вирусной и/или бактериальной инфекции, уменьшение воспаления, разжижение и облегчение отхождения мокроты, восстановление мукоцилиарного клиренса, стимуляция регенерации слизистой оболочки дыхательных путей, ликвидация воспаления в области лимфоглоточного кольца.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Acute respiratory infections (ARI) maintain their prevalence in paediatric pathology of all ages accounting for up to 66% in the overall morbidity.
