Под полиморбидностью понимают наличие нескольких патологических состояний у одного пациента. Известно, сочетание 2–5-болезней меняет классическую клиническую картину каждой патологии, чаще всего утяжеляет течение и увеличивает количество осложнений. Полиморбидность пациента диктует необходимость индивидуального подбора терапевтических схем лечения, учитывая еще и межлекарственные взаимодействия.
