В статье представлены механизмы действия бета-блокаторов. Обсуждены особенности фармакокине-тики, фармакодинамики, лекарственного взаимодействия метопролола. Приведены данные об эффективности и безопасности применения метопролола сукцината и метопролола тартрата при артериальной гипертонии, ишемической болезни сердца, хронической сердечной недостаточности.

The article tells about the mechanisms of action of beta-blockers. Pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and interaction properties of metoprolol are discussed. Findings on the efficacy and safety of metoprolol succinate and metoprolol tartrate in arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease and chronic heart failure are presented.
