<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Influenza is an acute respiratory disease that harms human health and leads to huge economic losses. The fight against this disease is included in the priorities of healthcare in many countries and has important medical and social importance [1, 2]. In addition to vaccination as the main strategy in the fight against flu, the World Health Organization recommends the use of antiviral drugs. The development of such drugs began in the 60s of the last century, when the scientists became to understand the subtle processes of viral replication and the ability to suppress its individual stages, without exerting a significant effect on the cells metabolic processes.</p><p> </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>грипп</kwd><kwd>противовирусные препараты</kwd><kwd>Арбидол</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>influenza</kwd><kwd>antiviral drugs</kwd><kwd>Arbidol</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">http://www.who.int/influenza/en/.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">http://www.who.int/influenza/en/.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Постановление от 30.06.2017 №92 «О мероприятиях по профилактике гриппа и острых респираторных вирусных инфекций в эпидемическом сезоне 2017–2018 годов». http:// rospotrebnadzor.ru/deyatelnost/ epidemiological-surveillance.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Постановление от 30.06.2017 №92 «О мероприятиях по профилактике гриппа и острых респираторных вирусных инфекций в эпидемическом сезоне 2017–2018 годов». http:// rospotrebnadzor.ru/deyatelnost/ epidemiological-surveillance.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit3"><label>3</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Davies WL, Grunert RR, Haff RF et al.
