Гларгин доказал свою эффективность и безопасность и в настоящее время широко назначается во всем мире. В феврале 2015 г. препарат утратил свою патентную защиту в США, что открыло двери для производства биосимиляров.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Insulin glargine, synthesized using recombinant DNA technology in a concentration of 100 U/ml, was the first once-daily longacting insulin analogue introduced into clinical practice in 2000. Glargin has a well-established record of efficacy and safety and is the most widely used insulin worldwide.
