Рассмотрены возможности ранней доклинической диагностики заболевания с использованием лабораторных и нейровизуализационных маркеров бета-амилоида, нейронального повреждения. Определена роль мемантина, антагониста NMDA-рецепторов, в регуляции эксайтотоксичности при деменции альцгеймеровского типа. Показана эффективность мемантина, одобренного в США и Европе для лечения болезни Альцгеймера средней и тяжелой степени. Отмечены сочетаемость с другими лекарственными препаратами при комбинированной терапии, благоприятный профиль безопасности и хорошая переносимость препарата.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article highlights the issues of pharmacotherapy of Alzheimer’s disease based on the guidelines of the USA National Institute on Aging. It discusses the potential of early diagnosis in preclinical stages of the disease using laboratory and betaamyloid neuroimaging markers, neuronal damage. The role of NMDA receptors antagonist memantine in the regulation of excitotoxicity in dementia of the Alzheimer’s type was determined. The efficacy of memantine approved in the US and Europe for the treatment of moderate and severe Alzheimer’s disease is demonstrated.
