Основным путем снижения заболеваемости пневмококковыми инфекциями, как инвазивными, так и неинвазивными, является вакцинация населения. Имея подтверждение безопасности и эффективности пневмококковых конъюгированных вакцин, ВОЗ и ЮНИСЕФ считают необходимым включить эти вакцины для детей в национальные программы иммунизации во всех странах мира.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The studies of the serotype composition of pneumococci in various countries indicate that over 80% of the most severe invasive diseases are caused by 20 serotypes, and 13 serotypes cause 70–75% of diseases globally [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>]. The vaccination of the population is the main way to reduce the incidence of both invasive and non-invasive pneumococcal infections.
