Мигрень - одно из самых распространенных неврологических заболеваний, которое проявляется тяжелыми приступами головной боли и составляет одну из частых причин нетрудоспособности у лиц молодого и среднего возраста. Практически все пациенты (98%) нуждаются в купировании приступов мигрени. Наиболее часто используются безрецептурные анальгетики, при этом только 9-10% пациентов удовлетворены эффектом терапии. Значительно более высокую эффективность имеют триптаны -противомигренозные средства, которые, к сожалению, редко используются в нашей стране. В статье обсуждаются основные принципы применения триптанов. Отмечается, что элетриптан - один из самых эффективных и хорошо переносимых триптанов в терапии приступов мигрени. Представлены данные клинической эффективности и безопасности элетриптана.

Migraine is one of the most common neurological disease that manifests itself in severe headache attacks. It is one of the most widespread causes of disability in young and middle-aged people. Almost all patients (98%) are in need of relief of migraine attacks. Prescription-free analgesics are most commonly used, with only 9-10% of patients satisfied with the effect of therapy. A much better effect is demonstrated by triptans - anti-migraine medications which, unfortunately, are rarely used in this country. The article discusses the basic principles of the use of triptans. Eletriptan is noted as one of the most effective and well-tolerated triptans in the treatment of migraine. The clinical efficacy and safety of eletriptan are demonstrated.
