В статье рассматривается проблема лечения острого кашля на фоне простуды. Обсуждаются вопросы эффективности и побочных реакций средств официальной медицины и современной фитотерапии. Приводятся данные Кокрановских обзоров, метаанализов, международных и российских исследований, доказывающих целесообразность и эффективность лечения симптомов кашля средствами природного происхождения.

The article deals with the problem of acute cough treatment against the background of a cold. The efficiency and side effects of official medicine and modern phytotherapy are discussed. The data of the Cochrane reviews, meta-analyses, international and Russian researches proving expediency and efficiency of coughing symptoms treatment by means of natural origin are given.
