В статье представлены данные по наблюдению 11 детей в возрасте от 6 до 11 лет с диагнозом «фекальная инконтиненция». У девяти из них не было установлено органической патологии периферической нервной системы и замыкательного аппарата дистального отдела прямой кишки. Регулярная ирригация прямой кишки в этой группе пациентов способствовала устранению недержания кала.

The results of treatment of eleven children aged six to eleven years with fecal incontinence were traced. It was found that nine of them did not have an organic cause of the disease. Regular irrigation of the rectum in this group of patients contributed to the elimination of the encopresis.
