При этом ключевое звено в нарушении липидного и углеводного обмена принадлежит печени, которая вместе с тем является и одним из главных органов-мишеней МС. Совокупность метаболических изменений в печени манифестирует неалкогольной жировой болезнью печени (НЖБП), которая признана шестым критерием МС и одним из главных факторов риска развития сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний и их осложнений.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Currently, there is no doubt that all components of the metabolic syndrome (MS) (abdominal obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, hypertension and dyslipidemia) are risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Liver is the key link in the impaiment of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, and at the same time one of the main targets of MS.
