На их долю приходится около 90% от всей инфекционной патологии и 70% от всей заболеваемости в детском возрасте. Примерно % от общих прямых затрат на оказание медицинской помощи населению приходится на диагностику и лечение острых респираторных инфекций. Несмотря на то что заболевания чаще всего имеют нетяжелое течение и благоприятный прогноз, они могут существенно влиять на самочувствие детей и препятствовать их повседневной активности [1-2]. В подавляющем большинстве случаев (около 95%) острые респираторные инфекции вызываются разнообразными вирусами - гриппа и парагриппа, респираторно-синцитиальным, аденовирусом, ринови-русом, коронавирусом, энтеровирусом (общее число серотипов, играющих этиологическую роль, составляет более 180) [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit1">1</xref>]. Значительный уровень заболеваемости острыми респираторными вирусными инфекциями (ОРВИ) обусловлен рядом факторов: высокой восприимчивостью детей (особенно раннего возраста), многообразием возбудителей, а также воздушно-капельным путем передачи и высоким индексом контагиозности [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>].</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Acute respiratory infections are a serious public health problem due to very high incidence and a serious economic burden. They account for about 90% of all infectious diseases and 70% of childhood diseases. About ¼ of the total health care costs are associated with the diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory infections. Though the disease is often moderate and has a good prognosis, it can significantly affect the well-being of children and interfere with their activities of daily living. [1-2]. In most cases (about 95%), acute respiratory infections are caused by a variety of viruses - influenza and parainfluenza, respiratory syncytial, adenovirus, rhinovirus, coronavirus, enterovirus, with the total number of etiological serotypes exceeding180. [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit1">1</xref>] The significant incidence of acute respiratory infection (ARI) is conditioned by several factors: high susceptibility of children (especially young children), variety of pathogens, as well as air-borne transmission and high contagiousness.
