Современные контрацептивы отличаются способностью оказывать дополнительное неконтрацептивное действие. Благодаря сочетанию микродозированного количества этинилэстрадиола и высокоселективного гестагена во влагалищном кольце его можно использовать у пациенток с сочетанной (и гинекологической, и соматической) патологией.

Besides the contraception the modern contraceptives have non-contraceptive effects. The ability to use the vaginal ring in patients with combined pathology as gynecological as somatic is important due to the micro-dosed of ethinyl estradiol and highly selective gestagen.
