По данным ряда недавно выполненных исследований, распространенность ХОБЛ в мире у людей старше 40 лет составляет 10,1% (11,8% у мужчин и 8,5% у женщин) [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>]. ХОБЛ является одной из наиболее актуальных медико-социальных проблем, это обусловлено не только широкой распространенностью заболевания, но и высоким риском серьезных осложнений, которые приводят к инвалидизации и смертности, в т. ч. трудоспособного населения [1, 2].</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive disease with incompletely reversible airflow obstruction that occurs under the impact of various factors (among which smoking is the key factor). [1, 2] According to several recent studies, the incidence of COPD in people over 40 years is 10.1% globally (11.8% for men and 8.5% for women). [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>] COPD is one of the most pressing health and social issues not only due to the prevalence of the disease. It also poses a high risk of serious complications resulting in disability and death including for the working population.
