В настоящее время около 2 млрд человек в мире страдают от витаминодефицитных состояний. Наиболее уязвимыми в этом отношении группами населения являются беременные женщины, дети и подростки. Витаминная недостаточность, развившаяся в детском возрасте, сказывается в виде неблагоприятных отдаленных последствий на протяжении всей жизни. Одним из приоритетных направлений государственной политики Правительства РФ в области здорового питания населения является нормализация обеспеченности витаминами детей и взрослых. В данной статье рассмотрены биологические эффекты основных витаминов, последствия их недостаточности, обоснована необходимость коррекции витаминодефицитов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Adequate supply of micronutrients including vitamins is essential for the normal functioning of child's body. Currently, about 2 billion people worldwide suffer from vitamin deficiencies. The most vulnerable population groups are pregnant women, children and adolescents. Vitamin deficiency which developed in childhood has adverse long-term outcomes throughout the whole life. One of the priority areas of the public policy of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of healthy nutrition is to improve vitamin sufficiency in children and adults.
