Понятие «легочная гипертензия» включает группу заболеваний, характеризующихся прогрессирующим повышением легочного сосудистого сопротивления, что приводит к развитию правожелудочковой недостаточности с последующим формированием «легочного сердца». Проблема легочной гипертензии (ЛГ) представляет особый интерес в связи с улучшением ее диагностики при различных заболеваниях.

Pulmonary hypertension unites a group of disorders characterized by a progressive increase in pulmonary vascular resistance leading to right ventricular failure and cor pulmonale. Particular interest to the problem of pulmonary hypertension (PH) is explained by the improvements in the diagnosis of PH concomitant with other diseases.
