У многих пациентов ХОБЛ протекает с осложнениями, лечение которых представляет затруднения для клиницистов. В настоящее время разработан целый ряд эффективных мер профилактики обострений ХОБЛ, включая вакцинопрофилактику, отказ от курения, легочную реабилитацию.
