В обзоре обсуждаются причины низкого использования менопаузальной гормональной терапии (МГТ) у женщин в постменопаузе, результаты последних доказательных исследований, подтверждающих благоприятный профиль пользы/риска при применении МГТ у женщин в возрасте 50-59 лет и/или при продолжительности постменопаузы менее 10 лет, а также возможности минимизации рисков этой терапии.

This review discusses the reasons for the low use of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) in postmenopausal women, results of recent evidence-based studies showing favorable benefit/risk profile associated with MHT in women aged 50--59 years and/or menopause lasting less than 10 years, as well as ways for minimizing risks of the therapy.
