В многочисленных рандомизированных контролируемых исследованиях (РКИ) доказано положительное влияние бета-адреноблокаторов в отношении заболеваемости и смертности [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit1">1</xref>]. Роль бета-адреноблокаторов в современной кардиологии переоценить сложно. По результатам метаанализа 18 РКИ лечение бета-адреноблокаторами пациентов с риском развития сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний ассоциировалось со снижением риска инсульта на 29%, ишеми-ческой болезни сердца (ИБС) на 7% и хронической сердечной недостаточности (ХСН) на 29% [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit2">2</xref>]. В комбинации с иАПФ, антиагрегантами и статинами бета-адреноблокаторы позволили снизить смертность при остром коронарном синдроме на 90% [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit3">3</xref>].</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Since the beginning of the 1960s, beta-blockers have been number one medications in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. A number of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) demonstrated positive effect of beta-blockers on morbidity and mortality [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit1">1</xref>]. It is difficult to overestimate the role of beta-blockers in modern cardiology. According to the results of a meta-analysis of 18 RCTs, administration of beta-blockers in patients with a risk of cardiovascular disease was associated with a reduction of the risk of stroke by 29%, coronary heart disease (CHD) by 7%, and chronic heart failure (CHF) by 29% [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit2">2</xref>].
