Надлежащее обучение пациентов и их окружения имеет важное значение в достижении компенсации сахарного диабета 1-го типа (СД1).</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Выявить проблемы в управлении СД1 у детей и подростков в повседневной жизни и оценить потребности в образовательных мероприятиях для детей и родителей.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Социологический опрос с участием 508 родителей детей и подростков с СД1 проведен  в феврале-апреле 2022 г.в 7 федеральных округах РФ. Электронная анкета содержала 80 вопросов по различным сферам управления заболеванием. Результаты. Возраст детей от 3 до 18 лет (средний 10,7 ± 3,64 года); пол детей: женский – 52,2% (265), мужской – 47,8% (243); стаж СД1 – от 1 мес. до 15 лет (средний 3,9 ± 3,2 года). Родители сталкиваются в повседневной жизни с проблемами  вариабельности гликемии у детей (19,5%), сложностями коррекции  дозировок  инсулина (14,4%), организации  питания в школах/ детских садах (21,0%), льготного обеспечения  инсулинами и медицинскими приборами для самоконтроля гликемии (17,1%), возрастными особенностями  детского и подросткового возраста  (14,9%), психологическими проблемами  (24,4%), равнодушием медицинских работников (10,8%), сложностями обследования  на гликированный гемоглобин (36,3%), низкой физической активности детей (57,9%), отсутствием знаний и навыков правильного мониторинга гликемии при физических нагрузках (46,6%), недоступностью занятий  спортом  (22,7%). Знания  родители  получают в школах диабета  (37,6%), от врачей-эндокринологов (42,5%), важным источником информации считают диа-чаты в мессенджерах (70,5%), социальные сети (59,6%), интернет-ресурсы (77,2%). Нуждаются в постоянном пополнении знаний 91,3% родителей, которые считают важным обучение детей и формирование у них ответственного отношения к своему здоровью.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Актуальное непрерывное образование пациентов  с СД1 и их окружения в вопросах  управления  заболеванием в  повседневной жизни, решение  вопросов  своевременного и полноценного  льготного обеспечения  детей  и подростков с СД1 медицинскими приборами мониторинга гликемии и препаратами  инсулина будут способствовать повышению эффективности терапии, снижению риска развития осложнений и улучшению качества их жизни.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction.  Proper  education of patients and  their  environment is essential in achieving  compensation for type 1 diabetes mellitus  (T1DM).</p></sec><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. Identifying problems  in T1DM management in children and adolescents in daily life and assessing  the needs for educational activities for children and parents.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods.  A sociological  survey with the participation of 508 parents  of children and adolescents with T1DM was conducted in February-April 2022 in 7 federal districts of the Russian Federation. The electronic questionnaire contained 80 questions on various areas of disease  management.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Age of children from 3 to 18 years (average 10.7 ± 3.64 g); gender  of children female – 52.2% (265), male – 47.8% (243); T1DM experience – from 1 month  to 15 years (average  3.9 ± 3.2 years). Parents  face problems  of glycemic variability in children (19.5%), difficulties  in adjusting  insulin dosages  (14.4%), catering  in schools/kindergartens (21.0%), preferential provision of insulins  and medical  devices  for self-control of glycemia (17.1%), age characteristics of childhood  and adolescence (14.9%), psychological  problems  (24.4%), indifference  of medical  workers  (10.8%), difficulties  of examination for glycated  hemoglobin (36.3%); low physical activity of children (57.9%), lack of knowledge  and skills of proper monitoring  of glycemia during physical activity (46.6%), inaccessibility  of sports (22.7%). Parents  receive knowledge  in schools of diabetes (37.6%), from endocrinologists  (42.5%), dia chats  in instant  messengers (70.5%), social networks  (59.6%), Internet  resources  (77.2%) are considered an important source  of information.  91.3% of parents  need  constant replenishment of knowledge,  they consider  it important to educate children and form a responsible attitude towards  their health.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
