Боль в горле - это жалоба, с которой довольно часто обращаются пациенты к лор-врачу и терапевту. Однако боль в горле не всегда означает ангину или другое воспалительное заболевание ротоглотки. Это утверждение имеет практическое значение, поскольку, как надеется автор, оно поможет врачу провести дифференциальный диагноз заболеваний, при которых может возникнуть боль в горле. В конечном итоге, если удалось правильно поставить диагноз, предоставляется возможность оказать квалифицированную помощь.

Sore throat is one of the most common reasons to see an ENT specialist or therapist. However, sore throat does not always mean tonsillitis or other inflammatory disease of the oropharynx. The practical value of the assumption, the author hopes, will help doctors to perform a differential diagnosis of the diseases characterized by throat pain. Ultimately, if the diagnosis is correct, there is a chance to provide efficient care.
