Терапевтическое обучение является неотъемлемой частью лечения таких хронических заболеваний, как сахарный диабет (СД), позволяет пациентам осознать значимость правильного образа жизни и заботы о своем здоровье. Успешно контролировать хроническое заболевание даже с правильным использованием всех медицинских гаджетов без активного участия пациента в современной медицине не представляется возможным. СД является ярким примером заболевания, где успех лечения зависит от активного участия пациента. Он должен не только соглашаться с назначениями врача, но и постоянно следить за своим состоянием и принимать решения, связанные с питанием, физической активностью, состоянием здоровья. Управление своим здоровьем требует специализированной подготовки, которую можно получить от врачей и других медицинских работников. Такая обучающая программа поможет пациенту лучше понимать свою болезнь и научиться успешно ее контролировать в разных жизненных ситуациях. При этом важно не только передавать информацию, но и помогать пациентам принимать правильные решения и находить мотивацию для изменения своих привычек. Обучение должно быть адаптировано к индивидуальным потребностям каждого пациента и учитывать его психологические особенности. Все это требует серьезной подготовки специалистов и непрерывного совершенствования методик работы школ для пациентов с СД. Также важным элементом обучения больных СД является вопрос социальной поддержки пациентов. В резолюции Всемирной организации здравоохранения отмечается необходимость предоставления пациентам доступа к социальной и психологической поддержке, так как это помогает им справляться с психосоциальными проблемами, связанными с их заболеванием, и повышает эффективность терапии.

Therapeutic training is an integral part of the treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus. It makes patients aware of the importance of living well and taking care of their health. It is not possible to successfully control a chronic disease even with the successful use of all medical gadgets of modern medicine without the active participation of the patient. Diabetes mellitus is a prime example of a disease where the success of treatment depends on the patient's active participation. He must not only agree with the doctor's instructions, but also constantly monitor his condition and make decisions related to nutrition, physical activity, health. Managing your health requires specialized training that can be obtained from doctors and other medical professionals. This training program will help the patient to better understand their disease and learn to successfully control it in various life situations. It is important not only to communicate information, but also to help patients make the right decisions and find motivation to change their habits. Education should be tailored to the individual needs of each patient and take into account their psychological characteristics. All this requires serious training of specialists and continuous improvement of methods of schools for patients with diabetes mellitus. The issue of social support for patients is also an important element of diabetes education. The WHO Resolution notes the need to provide patients with access to social and psychological support as it helps them to cope with the psychosocial problems associated with their illness and increases the effectiveness of therapy.
