Эти микроорганизмы обладают способностью формировать на слизистой оболочке т. н. биопленки. Метрогил гель вагинальный предлагается как возможное средство для лечения бактериального вагиноза.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Bacterial vaginosis is an infectious non-inflammatory syndrome  characterized by replacement of normal microflora with polymicrobial associations of anaerobes and Gardnerella vaginalis. These microorganisms have the ability to grow on the mucosa, the so-called biofilm.
