В связи с растущим интересом к растительным лекарственным средствам в обзоре представлен анализ эффективности корня алтея лекарственного в лечении кашля. Проанализированы данные современной научной литературы по электронным базам PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Wiley, PubFacts, платформы Springer Link, научного издательского дома Elsevier, «КиберЛенинки». Анализ 80 полнотекстовых обзоров по использованию фитотерапии при лечении кашля свидетельствует о более высоких показателях качества жизни, низкой частоте нежелательных явлений и меньшей выраженности кашля. Авторами также приведены данные о том, что растительная терапия успешно дополняет традиционные методы лечения, обеспечивая более длительные периоды ремиссии при хроническом кашле. Учитывая, что кашель – это защитный рефлекс, ответственный за очищение дыхательных путей от секрета, образующегося в дыхательных путях, частичек пыли, инородных тел, он может быть неприятным симптомом некоторых заболеваний, вызывающ им дискомфорт у пациентов. Применение препаратов на основе алтея лекарственного приводит к образованию защитной пленки на поверхности слизистой оболочки дыхательных путей, которая способствует более быстрой регенерации поврежденной слизистой оболочки респираторного тракта, вызванной сухим кашлем. Слизистая оболочка дыхательных путей является тканью с высокой степенью васкуляризации. В связи с этим противовоспалительные фитохимические вещества, которые улучшают восстановление очага поражения, например, локальную неоваскуляризацию, имеют решающее значение для ускорения заживления. Растительный лекарственный препарат, содержащий активный компонент – экстракт корня алтея, полностью отвечает требованиям безопасности и с успехом может применяться у пациентов при острых и хронических респираторных заболеваниях.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Studying the causes of cough, which is one of the most common respiratory symptoms when seeking medical help, remains a pressing problem for doctors of various specialties. Due to the growing interest in herbal remedies, in the current study we aimed to analyze the effectiveness of marshmallow root in the treatment of cough. We conducted a systematic search in modern scientific literature in electronic databases PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Wiley, PubFacts, Springer Link platform, scientific publishing house Elsevier, CyberLeninka. An analysis of 80 full-text reviews on the use of herbal medicine in the treatment of cough showed higher quality of life scores, lower rates of adverse events and less severe cough. The authors also provide evidence that herbal therapy successfully complements traditional treatment methods, providing longer periods of remission for chronic cough. Although coughing is a protective reflex responsible for clearing secretions and foreign bodies from the airways, it can be an unpleasant symptom that causes discomfort in patients. The use of preparations based on root extract of Althaea officinalis L leads to the formation of a protective film, which promotes faster regeneration of the damaged mucous membrane of the respiratory tract caused by a dry cough. The mucous membrane of the respiratory tract is a highly vascularized tissue. In this regard, anti-inflammatory phytochemicals that improve lesion repair, such as local neovascularization, are critical to promote healing.
