Одной из важнейших характеристик острой респираторно-вирусной инфекции (ОРВИ) является постоянный рост масштабов распространенности и удельного веса этого заболевания в структуре современной патологии человека. По оценкам экспертов, доля ОРВИ среди инфекционных заболеваний населения РФ достигает 90%, значительно превышая кишечные инфекции и ветряную оспу (2-3%) и другие инфекции.

One of the most important features of acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) is the continuous increase in the prevalence and proportion of this disease in the structure of human pathology today. According to experts, ARVI accounts for 90% of all infectious diseases of the Russian population, far exceeding intestinal infections, varicella (2-3%) and other infectious diseases.
