Недостаточное потребление кальция с пищей и низкий статус витамина D широко распространены в России, что может быть причиной избыточной потери костной массы и падений.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Изучить эффективность, безопасность и сравнить удобство приема разных форм выпуска биологически активной добавки (БАД) оссеин-гидроксиапатитного комплекса (ОГК) и витамина D (Цыгапан® ОСТЕО / Цыгапан® ОСТЕО форте) у женщин в постменопаузе с остеопенией.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Обследованы 28 женщин в постменопаузе с остеопенией. Проведены оценка боли в спине по визуальной аналоговой шкале (ВАШ), тестирование силы и функционального состояния скелетных мышц, лабораторный анализ фосфорно-кальциевого обмена и маркеров костного ремоделирования.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. На фоне приема БАД в течение трех месяцев у пациенток значимо уменьшилась боль в спине по ВАШ с 60 [50; 60] мм до 23 [0; 50] мм (р &lt; 0,05) в грудном отделе и с 43 [35; 70] мм до 18 [0; 38] мм (р &lt; 0,01) – в поясничном отделе позвоночника. Уменьшилось время выполнения теста «Встань и иди» с 9,5 ± 4,1 с до 8,3 ± 4,4 сек, р &lt; 0,001. Биохимические показатели оставались в пределах нормальных значений в течение всего периода наблюдения. Отмечено значимое увеличение остеокальцина на 11% и уменьшение С-терминального телопептида коллагена I типа на 15% (р &lt; 0,05). Отмена препарата из-за нежелательных явлений со стороны ЖКТ потребовалась у троих пациентов.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. БАД, содержащая ОГК и витамин D, обладает удовлетворительной переносимостью и безопасностью, улучшает функциональный статус скелетных мышц, благоприятно влияет на костный обмен, может использоваться в качестве дополнительного источника кальция, фосфора и витамина D у женщин в постменопаузе.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Inadequate dietary calcium intakes and poor vitamin D status are common findings in population living in Russia, which can be a cause of excessive bone mass loss and falls.</p></sec><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To study the efficacy and safety of different dosage forms of a dietary supplement containing ossein-hydroxyapatite complex (OHC) and vitamin D (CigaPan® OSTEO/CigaPan® OSTEO Forte) and compare their ease of use in postmenopausal women with osteopenia.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. A total of 28 postmenopausal women with osteopenia were examined. In this study, we assessed the following clinical parameters — VAS back pain scores, skeletal muscle strength and function, and levels of phosphorus-calcium metabolism and bone remodelling markers.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In women receiving the dietary supplement for a 3-month period, back pain was found to significantly decrease according to the VAS from 60 [50; 60] mm to 23 [0; 50] mm (p &lt; 0.05) in the thoracic spine and from 43 [35; 70] mm to 18 [0; 38] mm (p &lt; 0.01) in the lumbar spine. The time needed to complete the time-up-and-go test decreased from 9.5 ± 4.1 sec to 8.3 ± 4.4 sec (p &lt; 0.001). Biochemical test results were within normal reference ranges throughout the observation period. Osteocalcin levels were reported to increase significantly by 11%, whereas collagen type Ia C-terminal telopeptide levels decreased by 15% (p &lt; 0.05). Three patients discontinued the supplement due to gastrointestinal adverse events.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The dietary OHC and vitamin D supplement was safe and well-tolerated, improved skeletal muscle function, and had beneficial effects on bone metabolism.
