Abstract

Acromegaly is a severe multiple organ dysfunction which has an adverse impact on the quality and duration of life of patients. This is conditioned by the formation of a variety of pathological progressive hormonal, metabolic and systemic disorders, each of which is an independent risk factor for early disability and premature death.
