Гипогликемия как фактор внезапной смерти

Аннотация
Гипогликемия является частым и нередко неизбежным побочным эффектом сахароснижающей терапии. При попытке добиться лучшего гликемического контроля следует помнить о возможных последствиях гипогликемического синдрома для пациента: риске несчастных случаев, развитии когнитивного дефицита, жизнеугрожающих аритмий, инфаркте миокарда, психологической травме, утрате контроля над своими действиями, коме и даже смерти.
