Abstract
According to statistics for the past 25 years, the incidence of acute external otitis media has not decreased. This is a very common disease occurring in all age groups and accounting for over a quarter of all otiatric cases (1, 3, 6, 8, 9). According to certain data, the incidence of otitis externa is from 12.9 to 21% in children with diseases of the ear (1, 3, 10). There has been a significant increase in patients with external otitis recently conditioned by a wide use of headphones, popularity of different water entertainments (swimming pool, water park) and occupational hazards (1, 4, 6, 8). Acute otitis media is one of the most common diseases in children (1, 10). It should be noted that complications of acute otitis media (persistent perforations, adhesions in the tympanic cavity, auditory nerve damage) are a major cause of hearing loss (5).

Abstract
Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) are the most frequently occurring. Physicians of all specialities have to deal with ARVI in outpatient practice. In the present-day environment of the population migration, people concentration in metropolitan areas and active communication, viruses spread very easily and lead to unhealthy conditions. [7]. The high prevalence is explained by the easy transmission of the source of infection by airborne droplets. Influenza and ARVI account for 90-95% of all infectious diseases. The share of influenza in the overall Russian epidemics ranges from 10 to 60% [3]. In addition to epidemic outbreaks in the last century, the world recorded 4 pandemics [23].

Acute otitis media (AOM) is one of the most common diseases in children as well as in adults worldwide which makes a relevant social and economic impact. AOM treatment should primarily take into account the stage of the disease; it should be combined and focused on remedying the inflammatory process as well as alleviating the patient's condition. Abstract
ARVI is a short-term infection of the upper respiratory tract (including middle ear cavity and paranasal sinuses) which is caused by various respiratory viruses. According to the WHO [1], ARVI affects every third person every year. During epidemic outbreaks, 27.3 to 41.2 million cases are registered in Russia, of which 2 million are located in Moscow [2]. Despite a wide range of antiviral and symptomatic medications, the problem of treatment and prevention of ARVI is far from being finally solved. That's why medicines that strengthen the immunity of a macroorganism are becoming increasingly popular.

Abstract
Till now acute respiratory infection (ARI) remains one of the most pressing problems in the healthcare practice due to the extremely high level of morbidity, especially pronounced during seasonal epidemics. According to the global data, every adult annually suffers from a minimum 23 episodes of ARVI, and children - from 6-8 [13]. High incidence of acute respiratory infections is associated with a heavy economic burden, primarily due to indirect costs as a result of loss of labour capacity.
